DALA NEWS RELEASE

Dance Arts Los Alamos celebrated their 6 graduating senior dancers on February 15 with a showcase featuring solos, duets, and a group piece from the DALA Class of 2025 dancers, including dancers from Los Alamos, White Rock, and Santa Fe. Some of the dancers created and choreographed their own capstone pieces while DALA Faculty Jonathan Guise, Karina Wilder, Rachel Zervakos, and Isabella Jimenez choreographed pieces for others. The performance was well attended by family and friends and was followed by a reception celebration in the lobby of the Duane Smith Auditorium hosted by the DALA Board of Directors. 

DALA is looking forward to their spring performance season including the full length original ballet “La Lune de Bleu”, the Young Children’s Alice in Wonderland Showcase, and the Mixed Repertoire Concert. DALA is excited to announce their third annual Spring Gala fundraising event at Fuller Lodge on April 27, 2025, which will include drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and presentations from faculty and guests. More information about DALA’s spring performance season can be found on DALA’s website here https://danceartslosalamos.org/.
