Learn About Establishing A New Garden From Judy Hoffman In A Summit Garden Club Presentation Mar. 3 At SALA

SUMMIT GARDEN CLUB NEWS RELEASE

Judy Hoffman, a member of Summit Garden Club since 2015, graduated from New Mexico Master Gardener course in 2016. She grew up in a farming family in Ohio but learned that gardening in the Southwest is very different.

In 2020 Judy and Melissa Theesfeld decided to create a Moonlight Garden in the Los Alamos Demonstration Garden. They decided to start from scratch and took out most of the existing plants and soil. During this talk, you will learn the steps they took through the first five years. You will also learn about lessons learned, tips, and gardening resources.

Everyone is welcome and no registration is needed.

Summit Garden Club is a non-profit organization that welcomes any person interesting in gardening. We meet the first Monday of each month (except January) at 1:30 p.m. You can contact Summit at summitgardenclub@gmail.com.
