Discover Los Alamos, part of Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC), will host its annual Spring Tourism Kickoff on Tuesday, March 4 from 9-11 a.m. in the Pajarito Room of Fuller Lodge.

The event will appeal to tourism professionals, including docents, volunteers, and Ambassadors. Coffee and breakfast items will be served. Speakers from local attractions, businesses, and nonprofits will share updates, plans, and idea around how to attract and engage with visitors who come to Los Alamos County from all over the world. In addition, time will be set aside for questions and networking.

Started in 2022, the Los Alamos Ambassador Program is a free program designed to help create a community of helpers. During a 1.5-hour in-person class, participants will learn some techniques to become a more effective Ambassador of Los Alamos. Upon completion of the

She is reached at ambassador@losalamos.org. So far in 2025, the Ambassador Program has trained 45 individuals to be successful representatives and stewards of Los Alamos.
