LAAC NEWS RELEASE

Have you ever seen something that you cannot believe is standing still? From drawn motion studies to sculptures of birds in flight to crochet running socks, the IN/MOTION exhibit encouraged applicants to submit works that evoke motion and/or celebrate the moving image. Join us for the opening of our exhibit calendar in the Fuller Lodge Art Center. 

The opening will be Friday, Feb, 21 from 5-7 PM in the Fuller Lodge Art Center (2132 Central Ave.) Light refreshments will be served. In/Motion features 25 New Mexican artists, including 14 based in Los Alamos County. There are 40+ pieces of wall art and several 3D works. The show will be in our gallery until Mar. 21.

The Los Alamos Arts Council will also be sponsoring a Poetry Night at Samizdat the same evening from 6-8 PM. Free tea will be available. Chill out, meet new people and discuss your favorite poetry!
