Marching for Justice: A college student’s journey—Selma 1965
Presenter, Jim Hall, is a life-long resident of New Mexico. Jim grew up at Ghost Ranch Conference Center where his father was the director for its first 25 years. Jim & Janet Hall, and four kids (two of whom are adopted mixed race boys), were active citizens of Los Alamos for many years before relocating a few years ago to Capitan, NM. They still have business interests in Los Alamos.
Jim Hall’s recounting of Marching for Civil Rights at Selma, Alabama, as a mid-western college student, is an engaging and timely narrative. Hear it in person Sunday, Feb. 16, at 1:00pm at The United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Rd.
