I attended the Assets in Action award ceremony at Fuller Lodge this past Saturday. 

While I was sitting there listening to amazing stories about beautiful people in our community doing good things, I looked up and noticed that the upstairs railings have plexiglass barriers to keep small children from potentially falling through. 

As you know, I had written to you informing you of this serious safety concern last year. I was literally moved to tears to see that you were able to get this issue taken care of. Thank you so much for looking out for our smallest community members safety.  You ensured that those historic railings that were literally spaced in a way that small children could fall from the second story were retrofitted in a way that retains the historic charm but keeps children safe. 

I am so grateful for your efforts in addressing this situation! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
