RPLA NEWS RELEASE

On January 18th, 2025, the Republican Party of Los Alamos (RPLA) held its Ward Caucuses and Biennial County Convention at Fuller Lodge. The purpose of the Convention was to elect new RPLA Officers, members to the Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) State Central Committee, and County Central Committee members.  

RPLA Officers for the 2025-2026 term are:

1st Vice Chair:  Heather Muck
2nd Vice Chair:  Mike Wyman
Secretary:   Gary Stradling  
Treasurer:  Ken Shelley  

RPLA Members to the RPNM State Central Committee are:

RPLA Central Committee members were elected from 5 Wards in Los Alamos County.   

Lisa Shin was re-elected for a 2nd term, and issued the following statement:  “I am humbled to serve again as Chair.  I am grateful for our dedicated and strong leadership. Together, we will work hard to build on 2024 election victories, expand our base, and actively promote conservative principles to governance.”  

The Republican Party meets bi-monthly, 6pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at Open Door Bible Church, with special events throughout the year.  The next meeting will be on February 20th, 2025.
