COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos County Public Works Department is excited to announce a renovation project at the Mesa Public Library, located at 2400 Central Ave, which is set to begin the week of Jan. 20 and continue through March 2025.
All Rite Construction has been contracted to carry out the renovations, which will focus on enhancing the building’s exterior. The scope of the project includes removing and replacing the existing siding to improve the visual appearance of the library.
During the renovation period, there will be some noise associated with demolition and construction. Additionally, patrons may experience occasional disruptions to parking
library entrances. To facilitate the work, a portion of the southwest parking lot will be used for staging, which may temporarily affect traffic circulation in that area.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and patience as we work to enhance the Mesa Public Library. We look forward to unveiling a refreshed and improved space for
our patrons to enjoy.
For questions, please call the Public Works Department at 505-662-8150.
