On Friday, Jan 3, World Championship Blacksmith (WCB) Cat 2 Team joined some of our regular farriers in Los Alamos. Logan Salcido, Jonathon Lambert, Lyle Shepherd and Justin Hite hail from California, Tennessee, North Carolina and Arizona. They came to Los Alamos to observe, work and collaborate with local farriers as they train for upcoming competitions. WCB’s motto is ‘Education through Competition’. They promote mentorship and camaraderie through clinics and competitions nationally and internationally. New Mexico based farriers Craig Trnka, Mike Stone, Chris Madrid, Vince Vesely, Christin Sell and Chase Roybal hosted the Team at June Wall’s barn.  For more information on WCB, check out their website https://www.worldchampionshipblacksmiths.com
