KIWANIS CLUB NEWS RELEASE
The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos would like to thank the community for the wonderful turnout
at our Breakfast with Santa event which was held on December 7 at the Betty Ehart Senior
Center. We collected 38 boxes of non-perishable food items for LA Cares and received generous donations to support the Kiwanis African Library project.
More than 400 children got to meet with Santa and tell him their Christmas wishes. Each child
received a gift bag and families had the opportunity to have photos taken. Everyone was then
treated to a tasty pancake breakfast.
A special thanks to the Del Norte Credit Union for their generous contribution to this popular
and jolly holiday tradition.
