At the Family YMCA, your generosity doesn’t just fund programs—it transforms lives. Thanks to donors like you, we provide scholarships that help kids, youth, families, and seniors access programs that nurture their health and well-being. This year, we’ve raised our fundraising goal to $250,000 to meet the growing demand for financial assistance in our community. Yet, we are $55,000 short.

2. Attend or Sponsor Our Upcoming Events

We have a series of community events planned, each one designed to bring people together while raising critical funds for our campaign. Consider sponsoring or attending one of the following events:

• Tuesday, December 3rd: Giving Tuesday Participating in GivingTuesday means that you’re joining a global movement for generosity and there are so many ways to do that. • Saturday, December 7th: Winter Vendors Market As part of Los Alamos WinterFest, the YMCA will host a market from 10 AM to 3 PM featuring local vendors. It’s a perfect opportunity to shop for holiday gifts while supporting the Y and local businesses. • Friday, December 13th: Holiday Movie Night Gather your family for a fun evening at our Holiday Movie Night! We’ll be showing Home Alone for families and Die Hard for the adults. New this year we will also offer the LU-Interactive Video Wall. Ticket sales and sponsorships from the event will help us reach our goal. https://laymca.org/holiday-movie-night
  • Sponsor Levels Include:
    • Producer: $250 (4 complimentary tickets)
    • Director: $100 (2 complimentary tickets)
    • Screenwriter: $50 (1 complimentary ticket)
    • Cast: $25 (outright donation)
