Los Alamos Police Department Seeks Identity Of Suspects In Incidents Of Damage And Theft Of Political Signs

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) is currently investigating a series of vandalism and theft incidents involving political signs. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are urging the public to help identify the individual(s) captured in the videos and photos.

The vandalism occurred near 3250 Trinity Dr. on the morning of Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at
about 7 a.m.. The theft took place later that same day, with the individual seen on camera
stealing the sign at approximately 6:53 p.m. while accompanied by a child.

According to LAPD, these crimes are part of an ongoing problem during this election year. The
LAPD has released images/videos of the suspects (above) in hopes that someone might recognize them.

To incentivize this, a reward of $200 is being offered for information that leads to the suspects’
identification or arrest.
