Randi Simmons, center, and some of her American Legion Auxiliary have brunch ready for you. The American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a ‘First Responders Appreciation Brunch’ today, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion Post 90, 1325 Trinity Drive in Los Alamos. The cost per person is $10 a plate (cash please) and first responders eat free. Brunch includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate. This is the Auxiliary’s way of giving back to our first responders and thanking them for their service to our community.
