The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is inviting community members to join a quick Penstemon Garden Clean-up event, 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Los Alamos Nature Center.

Volunteers are needed to assist with deadheading flowers, spreading seeds and clearing weeds from the designated penstemon garden beds. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the beauty of the garden and learn more about native plants.

PEEC encourages volunteers to bring gardening gloves and tools. All skill levels are welcome and it’s a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors while giving back to the community.
