Los Alamos Nature Center Hosts PEEC-A-Boo Oct. 25 During Trick Or Treat On MainStreet

Brace yourselves for a spooky adventure at PEEC-A-BOO, 4-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at the Los Alamos Nature Center, 2600 Canyon Road. As part of the 2024 Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet festivities, the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) invites families and friends to enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, learning, and, of course, candy.

Highlights include spooky creature encounters at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with some of the PEEC’s resident animals and learn about the fascinating creatures that inhabit the local environment. Engage in a variety of Halloween-themed activities designed for all ages, and don’t forget to grab a treat.

Admission is free. After PEEC-A-BOO, stick around for a special Halloween Astronomy event in the planetarium 6-7 p.m. Friday, or 2-3 p.m. Saturday, to explore the night sky with a Halloween twist. Through a captivating mix of music, images and narration, attendees will explore Halloween from a fresh perspective that combines folklore and the cosmos.

Admission for Halloween Astronomy is $8 for adults, $6 for children, or $20 for a family. For more information, visit peecnature.org/events.
