LAPS NEWS RELEASE

White Rock residents are being advised that Los Alamos County has approved a noise ordinance waiver for Los Alamos Public Schools for several days in October.

As part of the Piñon Elementary School construction project, the contractor, Jaynes Construction, will be completing critical concrete pours, which require an earlier start time.

Crews will begin work at 6 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 17, Monday Oct. 21; and Tuesday Oct. 22, 2024. 

Construction of the new school is expected to be completed in Spring 2025, followed by phase two of the project, which includes demolition of the current buildings and landscaping.
