SCOTT BAIRD AND KATE KUDYNSKA
Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Cafe
Los Alamos
When Kate and I heard that Ryn Herrmann was retiring from the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, you cannot believe our despair. As anyone who knows Ryn knows, she is a canister of energy, a spark plug that creates opportunity, and an experienced mind that envisions unique solutions to multidimensional problems. So, when we heard that she was running for a seat on the Los Alamos County Council, we were thrilled!
Ryn is a brilliant candidate for a County Council seat. She is not a person that watches things happen, she makes things happen. She is not content for life to come to her- she takes charge and makes improvements. We saw this first hand as she and her team at the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street and the LACDC welcomed us to Los Alamos. They found us at the Farmer’s Market and helped us turn a little coffee concession on the grass at Ashley Pond into a full fledged café. Wolf and Mermaid would not be having the success we have today without her relentless support. Our many employees and customers owe Ryn and the Chamber a debt of gratitude for helping bring this dream to Los Alamos.
We can only imagine what Ryn will accomplish working for the people of Los Alamos from the
perspective of a member of the County Council. Her energy, focus, knowledge of the businesses and people of Los Alamos guarantee that she will be transformational. It is our great pleasure to endorse Ryn Herrmann in November’s election for County Council. As Ryn would say, “Let’s do this!”
