I spent 3 hours working on my washing machine y’all.
I’ve been doing 5 loads a day *trying* to get caught up. I stuff a load in and error D5 starts flashing.
Crap. This means the muck and dust and hay and dog hair, horse hair, people hair and pocket change has again left it’s mark and my drain is either clogged or my pump is out.
I clean the small laundry room space first. I clean the machine and then the drain. Yup, it all needed cleaning.
I plug it back in.
Ding ding D5.
Sonofasasquatch.
I pull load out and start moving stuff around so I can get to it. I have couple loose screws on pump so I tighten them, thinking it’s worth trying.
I tip it back up on its feet. Plug it in again.
Ding ding D5.
Then it hits me.
D5 means the door isn’t properly closed. I close door and turn it back on, pump starts draining.
I seriously eyeroll my own silly self.
D4 means drain.
D5 means door.
I just spent 3 hours working and cleaning up that washing machine because I didn’t close the door on it this morning.
Here’s to your day. If it’s a D5 day, call me and I’ll help you shut that door! If it’s a D4 kind of day, I’ll still help – but I’m checking the door, just in case!
Hug your own silly selves….it’s a tad brutal in the real world, so make sure you don’t let it weigh you down without a few minutes spent counting blessings to balance it out. Maintenance saves us extra work down the road…on machines and ourselves!
