Kiwanis Service Learning Clubs Gear Up For New School Year

The Kiwanis sponsored Service Learning Clubs (SLCs) are gearing up for a new school year!
These enthusiastic clubs are dedicated to providing students from elementary through high school with opportunities to learn about and participate in community service through a variety of fun and educational projects. These clubs welcome “all who desire to make the world a better place in which to live”!

Meeting information for all our SLCs is as follows:

Aspen K-Kids: meets Mondays 2:40 to 3:30
Starts Monday, August 26, Grades 3-6

Barranca K-Kids: meets Thursdays 2:45 to 3:45
Started Thursday, August 16, Grades 1-6

Chamisa K-Kids: meets Fridays at lunch
Start date still to be determined, Grades 4-6

Pinon K-Kids: meets Thursdays at lunch
Starts Thursday, August 29. Grades 3-6

Santa Fe School for the Deaf K-Kids: meets Fridays at lunch
Already started, Grades 4-6

LAMS Builders Club: meets Mondays at lunch
Started Monday, August 19, Grades 7-8

LAHS Key Club: meets Thursdays at lunch
Started Thursday, August 8, Grades 9-12
