Dance Arts Los Alamos is excited to begin our fall class schedule on Monday, Aug. 26. DALA, a staple of the Los Alamos and White Rock community for over 30 years, offers safe, professional, and progressive dance education for ages 1.5-adult in many genres including, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Flamenco, Scottish Highland, Swing, Acro, Conditioning, and more! DALA has studios in Los Alamos and White Rock, so you can find a class that works best for you and your schedule. All community members are invited to try any of our scheduled classes FOR FREE from Monday-Friday Aug. 19-23 during our Preview Week. No need to email or call to let us know you are coming, just show up and dance it out! You can view the schedule on our website here.
We offer many classes and would like to highlight a few that we are super excited about for this semester.
Adaptive Dance! DALA is entering its 5th semester of offering Adaptive Dance, a dance class open to all, but designed specifically for dancers with special needs or disabilities. We offer two classes on Monday afternoons one for ages 6-12 and one for ages 13+. Please email office@danceartslosalamos.org with any questions.
Classes for Adults! We are excited to announce some new adult classes this season including Hip Hop, Modern, Tap, Progressing Ballet Technique (mat conditioning), Flamenco, Ballet, and Pointe. You are invited to test out these classes during Preview Week from Monday-Friday Aug. 19-23.
