Valerio Pinchetti was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held Tuesday evening on the Rendja Canyon Trail off Range Road. He was 8 seconds off his predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were: Deana Tsang with a 14 second differential; Conor Galvin at 18 seconds off; Lynn Bjorklund recording a 21 second difference as well as the first finisher on the 1 mile paved course; and Zach Medin and Jan Velechovsky tied at 27 seconds off.
Brian Newnam was the best male finisher on the 1 mile paved course at 15:16.
On the 2 mile trail distance Teddy Atkins was first recording 26:00 and the top female was Lisa Johnson at 27:20.
Paul Geimer was the best finisher on the 3 mile trail course with a time of 20:18 and Madeline Harms was the first female finisher at 27:35.
Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, 8-13-2024 at 6:00 PM and will start at Pinon (Rocket) Park in White Rock on Sherwood Boulevard across from Smith’s. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
