The “BeYOUtiful Ball” was introduced in 2015 as the first ever prom event in Northern New Mexico hosted specifically for individuals with physical disabilities and cognitive delays in Santa Fe. The event is event is inclusive and accommodating all guests with special needs. It is 100 percent funded by generous donations, in-kind contributions and community volunteers. Formal attire, including accessories and shoes if needed, are provided for those who need them. Spa/barber treatments including hair, nails and makeup services are also available to attendees. The event is consists of a full dinner dance and memories to last a lifetime. There is no cost to guests and their caregiver. There is no specific age group; all are welcome including seniors because some of them were never allowed to actually attend their own prom
