On Tuesday, July 16, ScienceFest welcomes U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management’s Jeff Avery, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, for STEM-focused Q&A panels at Fuller Lodge from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. The community is invited to attend.

Avery is a featured panelist on Panel 1- Growing STEM in Local Communities, and will be moderating Panel 2- Future of Tech Opportunities in Northern New Mexico. He will be joined by industry, community and Pueblo leaders from the DOE Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos County and Pueblo de San Ildefonso.

A third panel, STEM in Schools, will feature senior leadership from Los Alamos Public Schools, Northern New Mexico College and UNM-Taos HIVE.
