When it gets hot outside on Saturday, come inside and visit the exhibits at SALA and cool off. Interactive activities for all ages there will include: STEMarts Activities. SALA is located just steps from the ScienceFest booths at Ashley Pond Park at 2551 Central Avenue.
VR Exploration: Participants can explore the cosmos with Oculus headsets, diving into the wonders of the universe.
3D VR Painting: Attendees can unleash their creativity by creating and projecting 3D art in real-time.
AR Sky Hunt: An augmented reality adventure where participants can find geo-tagged space objects projected in the SALA lobby.
Fractal Foundation Activities:
Interactive Fractal Stations: Discover the intricate beauty of fractals using computers and iPads connected to a projector in the lobby.
Fractal Presentations: Engaging presentations on fractals at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Glowing Fractal Balloon Display: At 8:30 p.m., enjoy a spectacular show featuring a glowing hot air balloon and projection mapping on the SALA building.
