At our last Transportation Board meeting, June 6, 2024, we received a presentation and took public comment on a proposed study for NM 502 Trinity Drive for the stretch between Knecht Street and Oppenheimer Drive. This study will analyze existing conditions and propose alternatives which are in accordance with the Strategic Leadership Plan, the Downtown Plans, Bicycle Transportation Plans, and Road Safety Audit.

We also received a presentation on criteria for mid-block crosswalks. Member Karen Edwards asked that accessibility be added to the criteria. Of particular concern is crossing Diamond Drive at Sycamore Street.

Additional public comment was received on Central Avenue issues.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, August 1 at 5:30pm in Council Chambers. Agenda TBD.
