Elizabeth Anne Hjelvik and Michael Warren were married in Forks, Washington on May 27, 2024. Elizabeth is the daughter of proud parents Lisa Pansoy-Hjelvik and Karl Hjelvik of White Rock, New Mexico. Michael Warren is the son of equally proud parents Ann and Steve Warren of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Elizabeth and Michael met in Albuquerque where Elizabeth received her degree in Chemistry at the University of New Mexico after graduating from Los Alamos High School and Michael was a Boeing engineer after receiving a degree in astronautical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. The couple transferred to Boulder where Elizabeth is completing her Ph.D in Materials Science as a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow at the University of Colorado and Michael is an engineer with Lockheed Martin.

Following their marriage in the beauty of the Forks, WA forest, the newlyweds vacationed in Victoria, Canada as an initial honeymoon and anticipate a honeymoon destination world-wide trip following Elizabeth’s completion of her Ph.D in the Spring 2025.

The Hjelvik and Warren parents are very proud of the newlyweds and are happy to extend our families.
