LALT NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos Little Theatre (LALT) will hold its annual members meeting 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St.
Anyone who would like to learn more about the LALT community is welcome to attend. Nonmembers may attend the meeting; however, all attendees will be asked to join LALT’s membership by paying its nominal $5 yearly dues at the door.
Attending is a great way to learn about and give input about the functioning of the LALT board, the state of the theater’s equipment and building, LALT’s budget, and the upcoming season. Members vote on the annual budget and on who will serve on the upcoming board.
Additionally, for anyone interested in serving on the board, this is the best way to see what it is like. The board needs members with theatrical knowledge, but also those who maybe don’t have theater experience but do have experience with nonprofits, marketing, budgets, construction/carpentry, education, or running a business.
