The K-Kids organization at Pinon Elementary School raised $400 for the Kiwanis African Library Project.

According to Jodi Hughes, the Pinon K-Kids faculty advisor, the kids made and sold rubber band bracelets. One of the older kids also made and sold earrings and charms.

The money will be used to help ship donated books, collected earlier in the year, to schools in Africa.
