Los Alamos Faith And Science Forum Summer Series Of Presentations At SALA Event Center Begins June 6

LAF&S FORUM NEWS

The Los Alamos Faith and Science Forum invites the community to their summer of celebration by continuing to examine issues at the interface of faith and science.  Our 11th season will run from June 5 to August 6.

Our first presentation will be

Galaxies vs. People Interacting with the Creator

Dr. Charles (Chick) Keller on Wednesday, June 5 at SALA Event Center.

Presentations will begin with an exploration of our moral foundations which bind and blind us in politics, religion and science. We will move on to explore antisemitism, the form and significance of the Israelite temple and pin down the timing and events surrounding the Israelite Exodus from Egypt. Exploration will then expand into the heavens as we consider how alien species may interact with our Creator. We’ll return to earth and explore what brain imaging tells us about the spiritual mind. Finally, we’ll learn about near-death experiences through numerous personal testimonies from those who were clinically dead. Then, onto a down-to earth exploration of Norris Bradbury’s activity at the Lab and religious involvement at TOTH Evangelical Church.

A light dinner will be provided at 6 pm for all forums. The presentations will start at 6:30 pm and be followed by table discussions. The location is the SALA Event Center, 2551 Central Avenue, Los Alamos, NM.
