Catherine Hensley was the best predictor in the weekly pace held on the Burnt Mesa Trail in the Bandelier National Monument off State Route # 4. She was 6 seconds off her predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Ted Atkins, Senior with a 9 second differential; Ted Williams at 18 seconds off; Chris Michel recording a 20 second difference; Stephen Reimus with a 23 second differential.
On the 1 mile course 5 year old Ivana Velechovsky was the top finisher with a time of 13:18 and Cliff Stanley was the first male finisher at 17:34.
In the 2 mile distance Sonja Behnke recorded a 26:18 for first place.
On the 3 mile course Valerio Pinchetti was top finisher at 21:41 and Madeline Harms was the best female recording a 26:35.
Next week’s race will be held in White Rock on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 starting at 6:00 PM starting a Pinon Park (Rocket Park) on Sherwood Boulevard across from Smith’s on the bike path parallel to State Route # 4. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
