NMDOT NEWS RELEASE
The New Mexico Department of Transportation along with Brasier Asphalt will begin a 5-mile pavement rehabilitation project that will include new pavement and striping on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, on U.S. 84/285 in Tesuque.
Work will take place from mile marker 173 to 178 and is expected to last 20 working days.
Crews will be working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. One lane will be closed during working hours, and the speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph through the work zone. At the end of each workday, all traffic control devices will be removed, and the roadway reopened to motorists.
Drivers are urged to watch out for workers in the area, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted speed limit. Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website, http://nmroads.com/.
