LWV NEWS RELEASE
The LWV will host a candidate forum this Thursday, May 9 at Fuller Lodge. The forum begins at 7 p.m., but all are invited to enjoy refreshments and socialize with the candidates at 6:30 p.m. We would love some sweet and savory finger foods to serve at the meet and greet at 6:30 p.m.
Participating in the forum are:
- Christine Chandler (Dem.) and Chris Luchini (Lib.) running for NM District 43;
- Mary Carmack-Altwies (Dem.) and Marco Serna (Dem.) running for District Attorney in the First Judicial District;
- Beverly Neal-Clinton (Dem.), Denise Derkacs (Dem.), Ryn Herrmann (Dem.), James Wernicke (Lib.), and David Reagor (Rep.) running for County Council.
Members of the Los Alamos High School Hilltalkers will assist in running the forum.
Don’t forget to consult our Voter Guide that was published in the Los Alamos Reporter LWVLA Voter Guide 2024 and the Los Alamos Daily Post online and in the LADP print edition that was delivered Thursday, May 2. The guide will also be available at Vote411.org, and remember voting begins on Tuesday May 7.
