The Regional Development Corporation (RDC) is proud to announce SALA Event Center as a recipient of their “Community Hero” award. SALA is recognized for its outstanding contributions to the social and economic well-being of the Los Alamos community. The recognition was announced at the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast in April at SALA.
In addition to the recognition, the RDC has awarded SALA a grant of $20,000 to support further business improvements. These funds will allow SALA to continue providing exceptional event experiences and contribute to the vibrancy of the local community.
“SALA Event Center is a true asset to the regional community,” said Pat Vanderpool, RDC CEO. “They consistently go above and beyond to create a welcoming and inclusive space for people to gather and celebrate. Their commitment to fostering a strong local economy makes them a deserving recipient of the ‘Community Hero’ award and this grant.”
Allan Saenz, the owner of SALA, expressed gratitude for the recognition received. He stated, “I want to thank RDC for their active work and the impact they are making in the region. Their mission and vision are inspiring, and I am grateful for their support of our project. This award and grant funding are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We are committed to using these resources to enhance our services further and serve as a valuable hub for our community.”
