Beginning Drawing

Jared Krupp unlocks the mysteries of value (light and shading) to create the illusion of form, linear perspective to create a sense of space and distance, and line to emphasize movement, speed, and energy.

Painting in Oils
Have you tried painting, but gave up in frustration? Does everything look flat and unrealistic? Again, you can learn how to paint! Karen Wray guides you through painting in oils, creating form with black and white paint, creating simple still life paintings. Value, using light and shading, is the secret to creating form and for moving your viewers’ eyes around your painting (composition).
