
LAFCF NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos Film and Culture Festival (LAFCF) is pleased to share the full schedule of films coming to SALA Event Center (2551 Central Ave., Los Alamos) on April 28-May 5, 2024. LAFCF welcomes a unique selection of filmmakers worldwide to present new films and share behind the-scenes information about each story and production.
This inaugural Festival brings 20 films from 13 different countries to Los Alamos and provides multiple opportunities for meet and greets with the filmmakers, question and answer discussions, and cultural attractions.
Sunday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to noon – The kick-off VIP Welcome Brunch will be at Fuller Lodge (2132 Central Ave., Los Alamos), and will host actor and filmmaker Matthew Modine, who stars in the film “The Martini Shot” featured on Wednesday this year. Many will recognize Modine as Vannevar Bush in Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” and Dr. Martin Brenner in “Stranger Things.” Join us for mimosas with Matthew by purchasing a VIP Festival Pass, which includes the Brunch, all 20 films, and festival events.

Tickets are on sale now for VIP Festival Passes, which include all 8 days of the event, including 20 films, a talk with the filmmakers, the VIP Welcome Brunch, and cultural attractions for just $60 per person. Individual tickets will soon be available for each film on the Festival website at www.losalamosfilmandculturefestival.org.
