National Burrito Day 2024 falls on Thursday, April 4. Throughout the country businesses are offering special deals to celebrate the big day and Senor Tortas in Los Alamos is no exception.
Senor Tortas, located within Smith’s Marketplace in Los Alamos is offering their variety of burritos from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at special prices:
- Buy one burrito and get the second one for half price.
- Buy two burritos and get the third for free.
- Choose from breakfast burrito, chile relleno burrito, California burrito, asada fries burrito or chile cheese fries burrito.
Owners Victor and Amalia Castillo are delighted with the continuing success of Senor Tortas since they moved the business into the Smith’s location.
“We have been busy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our long-time customers have been very loyal to us and we have many new customers that are becoming regulars also,” Victor Castillo said. “We have many other popular items on our menu but to celebrate National Burrito Day, we decided to focus on the many kinds of burritos we serve.”
The Castillos have a large team of employees that includes some family members.
“We all work well together to make sure we get our freshly made food is served quickly for people who wish to dine in at Smith’s or packed up carefully for people who want to take it home to eat,” he said.
Smith’s Marketplace is located at 751 Trinity Drive in Los Alamos.
