Los Alamos County Community Services invites the public to attend the Lindsay Brenner Airport Art ribbon-cutting event. The event will take place on Friday, March 29, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Los Alamos County Airport.

In pursuit of enhancing the airport environment, the Art in Public Places (APP) Board launched a Call for Art in November 2021. This initiative sought artworks that not only added aesthetic value but also contributed to sound management within the Los Alamos County Airport
Following the Call for Art, Lindsay Brenner emerged as the standout artist among the submissions. Community feedback was sought through a survey, which garnered an overwhelmingly supportive response. The decision reflects the community’s enthusiasm and
endorsement for Lindsay’s custom fiber art piece to enhance the Los Alamos County Airport.
