The Los Alamos Arts Council is proud to be hosting the 2024 Kite Festival at Overlook Park in April of this year.

Each year, we bring this joyous festival that combines a historic art form with a love of flight for our youth, their families and kite enthusiasts from around the region. This festival is one of our cornerstone legacy programs in Los Alamos County and our goal continues to be to bring it at no cost to participants.

The costs associated with this, and many other programs, continue to rise, and we are seeking sponsors who would like to join Enterprise Bank and Trust, Los Alamos MainStreet: ScienceFest, and Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry in bringing this unique opportunity to our community.

We are still seeking $6,000 dollars in donations and sponsors to pull off this year’s festival, without impacting other programs, and we have many different opportunities for partnerships.
