I do not normally respond to “Councilor” Reagor’s ramblings. They are subliterate and not really worth reading, let alone expending energy rebutting.
“Climate extremists,” though, troubles me. Here Reagor is attacking volunteer citizens who have stepped up for what is a difficult and mostly thankless job. Your and my neighbors who understand the gravity of our climate situation and who are willing to spend time and mental resources analyzing paths forward. To make very painful tradeoffs that will necessarily upset many people… but may, if we’re lucky, offer our children a future.
Reagor’s attack is Not Cool. More importantly, his conduct is unbecoming of an elected official and reflects poorly on the entire Council. Kindly suggest to him that, if he chooses to write further nonsense, he do so without the “Councilor” title.
(The rest of his letter, spouting balderdash and citing long-debunked pseudoscience, is not worth my time nor yours.)
