COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Los Alamos County is consolidating sales and operations of the Guaje Pines Cemetery into the Parks and Open Space Division to improve customer service beginning February 1, 2024. The Parks office at Pajarito Cliffs Site (101 Camino Entrada, Building 5, Los Alamos) will become a one-stop-shop for those wishing to purchase cemetery plots, as well as those making burial arrangements. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. After hour arrangements may be made to accommodate family members and funeral providers for plot sales. 

Previously, the County Customer Care Center was the point-of-contact for all sales of cemetery plots and Parks provided operations support, including burial services and maintenance of the cemetery. By consolidating these services, individuals will have a single point-of-contact, facilitating an easier process for individuals and families.
