Pinon Elementary School’s Wellness Committee is spoiling their staff today, Friday, with a sweet and delicious hot cocoa bar. Organizers say this ‘incredibly loving and caring staff deserves every last drop’! Principal Ivanna Austell told the Los Alamos Reporter that the Pinon Staff Wellness Team is an amazing group of teachers who work all year planning and hosting special events, big and small, for staff. ‘These events provide much needed opportunities for mental breaks, stress relief, socialization, and simply feeling appreciated. They plan everything from art classes to drum aerobics, staff luncheons to hikes. Sometimes it is just a sweet treat in staff mailboxes.
