COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

The Los Alamos County Council will hold a special session on Friday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers (1000 Central Ave., Los Alamos) for discussion and possible action on the appointment of current Deputy County Manager Anne Laurent to the position of County Manager and to approve the related employment agreement.  

On December 7 and 8, the two final candidates, Laurent and Tracey Jerome, Senior Deputy Manager of the City of El Paso, participated in a tour of Los Alamos County and its facilities and a public meet-and-greet event, followed by a round of interviews with panels consisting of community members, County senior management, and County Council. Friday’s special session is the last step in the process to appoint a new County Manager.
