St. Job of Pochaiv Orthodox Christian Church
Los Alamos
For over a decade, the Orthodox Christian community in Los Alamos has dedicated their efforts to fundraising for various charitable causes through the sale of their homemade cookies.
Once again, St. Job of Pochaiv Orthodox Church will be offering holiday cookie boxes. Because of the demand for baklava, they now offer pans of this delectable treat. The cookie boxes will feature treats traditionally from Orthodox lands, accompanied by tea, candles, and a bookmark. The boxes freeze well and are great for shipping to friends and family for the holidays.
The proceeds from this year’s sale will be directed towards supplying essential water resources to the people of Ukraine. Visit https://uocofusa.org/news_230707_1 for more details about the aid to Ukraine.
To place your order, please email cookies@stjobla.org. The cost for cookie boxes is $27.50, and pans of baklava are priced at $40.00.
Pickup for orders is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 17 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at St. Job of Pochaiv Church, located at 1319 Trinity Drive behind Muy Salsas.
We look forward to providing these boxes filled with hand-made treats and much love!
