“The Gift of Small Paintings” is back for a third year at Step Up Gallery. The show is designed to offer a holiday marketplace to find that perfect, forever gift of art for a loved one. The show runs Thursday, November 30, 2023 through January 3, 2024 in Step Up Gallery on Mesa Public Library’s upper level. More than 130 smaller-sized, framed or finished works of art including oils, pastels, watercolors, dye-work, fabric art, drawings, etchings and collage are offered for viewing and purchase. 

The experienced artistry of this show’s participants includes some of New Mexico’s premier regional artists, as well as many well-known local artists including Liz Aicher, Elizabeth Brosha, Allen Hopkins, Katy Korkos and Kathi Geoffrion Parker of White Rock and Bonnie Dickman, Connie Pacheco, Rachel Pearson and Gloria Sharp of Los Alamos. A watercolor painting called “Cholla” by Albuquerque artist, Toni Seidel was chosen as the background image in this exhibit’s show poster!

PICK-UP your purchase any Tuesday – Friday 2pm- 6pm or Saturdays 10am – 2pm. The gallery manager will be present in Step Up Gallery during those hours to help prospective buyers with their purchase and package up their purchased art to take home before the holidays.

Mesa Public Library is open: Monday-Thursday, 10am – 8pm; Friday, 10am– 6pm, Saturday, 10am– 5pm; Sunday, 1pm – 5pm and closed holidays.
