Coming out of the Thanksgiving weekend, and moving into the Christmas season, I want to express my sincere gratitude for those in our community who exercised their fundamental right and privilege to vote in the non-partisan elections this November.  Thank you, Los Alamos, for voting to elect School Board members, UNM-LA Advisory Board members, and for voting your opinion of the LAPS General Obligation Bond.  I am especially grateful for the overwhelming support of community members in District 5 who voted, representing Mountain Elementary School and Los Alamos High School.  Much appreciation also goes out to friends and family for their steadfast support, the Republican Party of Los Alamos for hosting a meet-and-greet at SALA, LAFSE for endorsing my candidacy, and the League of Women Voters for providing non-partisan information about all candidates.  It truly is a gift to serve our community.   May your holiday season be blessed as we remain mindful of even the smallest of gifts in our lives.
