Los Alamos STEAM Lab’s 2023 Scarecrow Contest entry, “Not Out of the Woods”, delighted passers-by on Central Avenue in Los Alamos with its creepy branches and spooky sounds. In case you were wondering how many times the buttons were pressed while the entry was displayed, they were as follows: Red: owl, 5006 presses; White: tawny owl, 2651 presses; Yellow: cricket beat, 3035 presses; Green: coyote, 3407 presses and: Blue: crow, 3482 presses.
