LAHS NEWS RELEASE

The Los Alamos Historical Society (LAHS) extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Mark T. Banker for an exceptional lecture as the guest speaker in the Society’s November Lecture Series.

Dr. Banker’s lively and informative presentation delved into the interesting parallels between Oak Ridge, TN and Los Alamos, offering a different perspective of these two atomic cities.

In addition to Dr. Banker’s talk, LAHS proudly announced the recipients of the Los Alamos Historical Society’s History Award: John and Sandy Charles. Their decade long commitment as walking tour guides, historical property caretakers, researchers, and contributors to the maintenance of the General’s car exemplify outstanding volunteerism and make the history museum a welcoming place for all.

For those who missed the event, the recorded lecture is now available on the LAHS YouTube page.
