I would like to give my warmest thanks for the many voters who voted for me for the UNM-LA Advisory Board position. I truly appreciate your support!
On that note, I’d like to also thank all the voters for participating in our county’s local election. I always like to remind people that their vote is their voice. And in that regard, we had a good number of people’s voices heard this election.
I would also like to thank the voters for voting Yes on the School Bond. Los Alamos has a long and proud history of valuing education for our children. Our schools are a testament to that commitment to their futures.
In preparation for my membership on the Advisory Board, I plan to meet again with Dr. Holtzclaw to discuss near and far term goals for the University. I look forward to being involved with the many community-related activities supported by UNM-LA. Mike (as he prefers to be called) has enumerated a detailed strategic plan, and I know that the Advisory Board will work hard to give him the support and advice needed to ensure success.
Again, thank you so much for your support!
