County Seeks Community Feedback For Development Of Comprehensive Health Plan

COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

The Los Alamos County Health Council (LACHC), in collaboration with County Social Services, is developing a Los Alamos County Comprehensive Health Plan (CHP). Three public listening sessions are scheduled in November and early December to collect feedback from the community. Upon adoption of the CHP by the County Council, the CHP will guide the next five to seven years of health, wellness, and social services planning and programming in Los Alamos County. 

Community members who live, work, learn, pray, or play in Los Alamos County are invited to attend one of three sessions to share thoughts, ideas, priorities, and concerns. We are asking citizens to consider what matters most to them and their families, when thinking about health and wellbeing in Los Alamos County. 

Make your voice heard at these family friendly gatherings. Food will be provided. No advance registration is necessary: 

Wednesday Nov. 8, 2023 

6 – 7:30 p.m. at White Rock Branch Library (10 Sherwood Blvd, White Rock) 

Wednesday Nov. 15, 2023 

6 – 7:30 p.m. at Fuller Lodge, Pajarito Room (2132 Central Ave, Los Alamos) 

Thursday Dec. 7, 2023
