
Special guests at the Los Alamos Police Department’s October 19 ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event at the Starbucks location at 1247, Diamond Drive were local Special Olympics athletes. LAPD is partnering with Starbucks through Dec. 16 as part of a statewide initiative to raise awareness and funding to support Special Olympics athletes with a Law Enforcement Torch Run. Starbucks customers can choose to donate a dollar or more for a paper torch run icon, which will be proudly displayed at Starbucks. Pictured are, back row left to right, LAPD Cpl.
